An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Validation & Verification Manager based in Derby.
Role:
The successful candidate will lead the V&V management activities across signalling project portfolios.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take part in major deployment project by leading, organising and performing verification, integration and test activities
- Create and maintain projects in the approved V&V management tools
- Produce verification and validation reports in support of gate reviews and commissioning
- Ensure the application and adherence to internal processes and applicable norms, methods & tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate
Essential Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering qualification
- Good analytical skills
- Experience applying RSSB, Network Rail standards or equivalent rail infrastructure organisations
- Experience Testing and Validation of safety critical systems
Desirable:
- Knowledge of signalling design, installation, testing or safety assurance
- Use of software database, such as DOORS/Regtify
